The answer is not blind trust but a verifiable process: locate your campus, compare journeys, identify the housing provider, read the contract and retain every document. Start with your campus, not the city centre
The University of Seville has facilities around the historic centre and Rectorado, Reina Mercedes, Cartuja and other districts. Pablo de Olavide University sits by its own metro stop outside the central area. Find the exact building where most classes take place before choosing a neighbourhood.
A central address sounds appealing, but a direct metro, bicycle or bus journey may create a much better routine. Always test the door-to-door route rather than straight-line distance.
When to organise your search
For a September start, listings move quickly from late spring through summer. A second rotation happens around January for semester changes. Starting early improves choice, while signing too early without confirmed academic dates can leave you with unsuitable terms.
First define your dates, total budget, campus and three acceptable areas. You can then move quickly without taking the first available room.
How to verify a room remotely

- Check that images match the layout and address provided.
